Happiness Vender Machine

The vender is back! See the video above as to what myself, Layla White and Michaela Mckone created last year for a viral ad promoting Blackpool & the Fylde College.

Today we were in the process of creating the same thing to raise money for our end of year exhibition at the Cube in Manchester. The vender will be back next week for 5 days only! People pay 50p and they get given a mysterious prize.

Here I am working on a new brief about Blackpool. I have to create a 2min motion graphics advertising Blackpool as a wholesome place to come to, for couples, groups and families.

I am looking at showing somebodies lifetime growing up in Blackpool from a baby up until there older ages. I want to show this through illustrations, so above are some of my designs that I am working on at the minute. Each illustration will be merging into each other.

Typographic Poster

Here is my final poster that I have been working on over the past week. The task was to design a typographic poster demonstrating what your subject matter was for your dissertation. I have used a bold quote by Georgia O’Keeffe and used a splash of colour in the corner to draw your eyes to the smaller text.

I have used the font ‘Swiss 721 BT’ and made use of the different weight sizes so it is a bit like a type specimen sheet.

Travellers Tale

Here I am showing a Travellers Tale on a A2 board. My tale is set at Knowsley Safari Park. I have used water colours and a continuous line with fine liner pen to create this design. Everything was drawn separately and I have used layers to combine the images together.
